Me, too. I bought four pair while in London (where I got bitten by the CV bug) and they were only about the equivalent of $20 a pair. A couple years later I was in the market for a pair for another bike and was amazed at the increase!
Consumables are where it's at in CV. Just take a look at the prices for NOS chains and rings on Ebay!
