There is a $10 motorcycle cruise control called "Crampbuster". It is a simple loop/paddle thing that slips over the throttle. The paddle part lets you rest your hand to control the throttle. Sounds more complicated than it is.

I haven't slipped it off my motorcycle to try it on the bike yet, but I might if anyone is interested in the results.
