No food unless the ride is longer than 100k, then Perpetuem and Hammer Gel. For example, last week I did a 200k permanent with a group, and consumed a total of 560 calories on the ride. Felt great the whole time.

Of course I had a solid breakfast three hours prior, and then had Recoverite immediately after.
