Hello, just a little introduction, I am 18 years old, and going off to college in the fall. I want a mountain bike for cross-campus travel, along with for just riding. The problem is, is that I am a heavy guy at 300 lbs, so I dont know what I should look at. I dont want to get too light of a bike that something bends/breaks.. I also dont want a bike that barely holds me. Pretty much I want something that I know will last. I plan on trying to cycle a bit and lose weight, but I have to get a bike first .

Anyways, since I know nothing, I was wondering if anybody could help me out on here. Thanks in advance.
