Did King Ridge/Skaggs Springs Rd./Dry Creek Rd. on Monday. Be glad the Fondo doesn't include Levi's favorite part, Skaggs Springs. That road nearly killed me. It got up to 105 degrees, very little shade, and monster grades up to 15%. There was no food and only one water stop for 75 miles.
As far as King Ridge goes, it has some steep parts but there is shade along the way. Take tons of water and electrolyte pills.
