Yeah when a winner is disqualified for doping, you never hear the 2nd or third place riders speaking up about it like you would expect a clean rider to do. Instead they act like "who cares, I didn't really win".
It is very odd when a top rider performs so so badly in a grand tour, after one or multiple great grand tour performances. Remember Mayo in 2004, after doing so well in 2003 and in the 2004 Dauphine? Or flash in the pans, like Nozal and Cunego?
