Well, having lived in Portland, it was much better cycling in the SW city area than in Corbett (out in the country), fer instance. In Corbett, the local thugs sprinkle thumbtacks on the shoulders for cyclists' amusement. Pickups buzz cyclists regularly. I certainly will never spend another dime in the Corbett market on my way down from Larch Mt.
