ok the problem I've been having lately is that the more I read on this site, the more I'm dying to actually go out and experience fully loaded touring. I ride my bike alot and have front and rear racks with panniers as well. I'm also an avid hiker so have a few backpacking tents. Only prob is that for my first tour I didn't want to go on a long tour. I too was thinking something like a weekend tour so I could start getting the feel for what's to come. I was thinking maybe heading out to bear mountain, and back. Anyhow if your interested sometime in the coming weeks, just let me know and well plan it, and take it from there.
