Skateboards need to stay away from public areas. The idiots doing tricks, and failing, and then falling off the edge of the sidewalk, are as irresponsible as if I practiced trackstands on the shoulder of the road. I've never met a smart skateboarder, nor one with a sense of self-preservation.
