I'm looking to upgrade the shifters on my denali, anyone have any ideas on what shifters would work on the denali and what I would have to do/get to put them on. Would I need new handlebars since the ones on the denali are welded together?

I know it doesn't make sense to upgrade this bike but, I'm doing it for the learning experience and the mechanics of the bike.
