The CG1 are new, and should be stiffer due to the BB30. Not any in depth ride reports yet, still too new.

I haven't heard of any quality issues. I'll be buying a CG1 in a couple weeks here, gonna be under 15.5 lbs with Open Pros and a PT rear. I can let you know how stiff it is. I'm 180, so I can probably tell.
