Well, this seems like as good a time as any to introduce myself. My girlfriend and I are hitting the road to Seattle next Monday, Aug. 10th, and should be arriving in your fair city by the 14th. We're going to live with relatives on Bainbridge for the short (hopefully really short) term, but will be living in the city proper once we're able to actually check out some apartments in person.
I enjoy commuting as much as possible on my Long Haul Trucker, going on 30-60 mile road rides w/ the occasional 80+ miler thrown in, and I love racing cross on my Raleigh Rx1. I raced my first season in the MABRA series in Maryland, DC, and VA last year. I'm really, really looking forward to the Seattle CX and MFG series, though I can't for the life of me figure out if there are pre-registrations for either series.
I do not, in fact, ride a Centurion, contrary to what my screenname might indicate. I sold it in preparation for the move. Three bikes are easier to move than four.
I hope to meet some of the Seattle folks on here and go riding.
