Bikes: Thylacines...only Thylacines.

I dunno what happened to the leg. No idea how you get a gash on the outside of your left leg when the chainring is on the right either. It's all a mystery I'd rather not think about.

I dunno if Gitanes were big in the 80's...I think it was more of a 70's thing, which, of course, makes 531 ANCIENT. Late 80's it was all about the lugged Pinarellos, Viners, and Colnago's for me ( with a small amount of idiots coveting Cannondales, the first Giant carbons, Alans and those other crap lugged Aluminium things etc. ) I had a Centurian Ironman, which was white with black splatters and full Ultegra....I think.

I hope these modern Gitanes are good value, coz they're not "[Gitane cycles are the] embodiment of quality, style and tradition" like the website says....alhough they are made by Kinesis which is usually a good sign.
