Late 80's it was all about the lugged Pinarellos, Viners, and Colnago's for me ( with a small amount of idiots coveting Cannondales, the first Giant carbons, Alans and those other crap lugged Aluminium things etc. ) I had a Centurian Ironman, which was white with black splatters and full Ultegra....I think.

Yep....the smoked "white-to-colour fade" paint job was all the rage.....along with those red and white Look pedals the size of a house brick, Shimano 600 SIS 7-speed downtube shifters and those grey and red Eddy Merckx Adidas shoes.
Aaahh.......nostalgia.
