Or somehow make it clear that you aren't the one they should be coming to with complaints about cyclists.. ask them if you can file grievances with them about idiot drivers you encountered along the way to work..
Then scan the local papers for each and every car wreck, and send them a link to it. Ask them what they think about it. Turn the tables, my friend.
Or just never talk to them again, that's always an option.
