If I had of known the conditions would suck I would have taken the old beater mountainbike. My bike has a couple of cloudy areas on the top tube where my number rubbed which sucks. So if any of you know how to take cloudyness/fine scratches out of clear coat I'd really appreciate it. Also some tips on what kind of servicing to give my bike after spending to much time in the rain. I've cleaned/degreased and lubed the chain, rear and front deraileur. Anything else I should do? Noticed rust in a little hole on the undersides of the hoods of both shifters that concerned me. Is there anything I should be doing with the shifters to make sure they don't stuff up before their time?
Have you lifted up the front of the bike, to drain any water trapped in the frame?through the drain holes.
