Looks like even as a kit it will require modification of the bike frame BB for the installation, depending on the version actually manufactured. Also the story presents it as a performance enhancement rather than a theft deterrent it appears. Looks like aimed at DH and trick riders to me.

On my city bike I have installed a european Axa Defender ring lock that locks the rear wheel and is permanently mounted to the frame. Handier than a U lock or other separate lock and the Axa includes the option of use of a chain that attaches to the lock body for additional security.
