My LBS has also offered me a complete new NuVinci rear wheel at shop original cost. Has anyone gone the Free Radical kit plus NuVinci hub conversion route? If so comments would be appreciated.
Ask AllenG I am pretty sure that is what he is running on his SUB, along with an electric booster motor. He ended up using the Nuvinci hub because he did not want to risk breaking his Rolhoff.

The Trek sounds like the ideal bike to convert
