I won something at my dad's company picnic back in '86 I think. It was a Scwhinn something or another, I was only about 12. It was purple and black w/stem shifters. It really sucked to have it because we lived down a loooooooong dirt road which made riding it difficult. I didn't get another 'road' bike till 1.5 years ago. In fact my Trek is only the 2nd bike I've had since that Schwinn.
