We have a patrolled, gated parking garage, and to top it off, a nice corba rack (the big helical tube). I use a mini u-lock, and have keyed skewers, because I also lock my bike in other, more sketchy areas.

+1 on the protective colouration of an unimpressive bike. It's a Surly Long Haul Trucker, in fact a very nice bike, but the olive green frame, fenders, and heavy-duty black rack do not scream "expensive bike." Personally I like the utilitarian aesthetic anyway.
