much cooler today and not humid so the air quality was good. I thought my gearing was all set yesterday afternoon but the cold weather may have affected my cable length and I had some issues getting into all my gears. I definitely need a new chain cuz I have some definite chain hop. I got off to a late stop but arrived in record time. I will attribute it to getting up out of the saddle more. My morning STATs are perhaps my best of the season. I haven't pumped my tires for almost 2 weeks and that fact plus the cold weather this morning made my tires feel like soft donuts and I noticed considerable slow-down when coasting to sip water. the flipped rapid fires stink and either need to be replaced or I need to get a real road bike and quit fooling around with this converted hybrid.
