Tattoos date back to the earliest humans. The current craze in the US probably started in the 1990s when tattoo parlors became legal in most places, including New York City, releasing pent up demand. It is my claim that it may have run its course so getting one will put you in the tale end of the craze. Trying not to be a know it all, but that is how I see it. Stuff goes in and out of fashion.
i agree- i think initially tattoos were a form of rebellion. now that everyone including soccer moms has one
