You could probably use the flexible emergency spokes to lace the hub to a junk rim, could get expensive though.

And while I'm not throwing an accusation out there, but I'm wondering if there is a strong u-lock or heavy chain still hanging where a bike used to be locked up at? Sometimes it's easier to chop a frame than to remove a lock with a lost key. Not saying anything about the seller, just curious is all.
