BB Upgrade for new Dawes SST

I'm about to get a new bike... it seems to be a 10 year or so cycle for some odd reason. I found the Forums, read up and ordered a Dawes SST on the cheap with it appears alot of sealed bearing parts.

In corresponding with Bike Island about a Dawes SST currently on the way to me, http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/dawes/sst.htm

I had heard some had issues with the stock BB, and asked them for a recommendation.

They suggested a Miche 68 x 107mm as a replacement/upgrade.

I'm assuming they mean this one http://bikeisland.com/cgi-bin/BKTK_S...ils&ProdID=804

Miche Primato Pista CR1620

I have read that this may have some loosening problems, and also that it is not a fixed cup and has some adjustment.

Do you think its worth the adjustability to offset the occasional need for tightening, or is there a better solution longer term?

I ordered a crank puller and BB tool to check/grease the one on the new bike before going very far. I'm just asking for down the road a ways if I have issues with the stock one.

Thanks for any replies/info...
