no noticeable breeze on the face from the fan.. and you can't even hear it when you are riding with it on low, on hi you can hear a little it but its not bothersome..wind and road noise cover it up for the most part.. i got them for $110 from motorhelmets.com... but these are the large OTG(over the glasses) and if I had it all to do again I might rather have the mediums since i don't wear glasses.. I went with these because they came with clear lens, and I picked up gold light and grey lenses also from them for $6.50 each.. motorhelmets only had that size for the turbo CAM and it was on sale and their policy is no return etc.. so you may want to try it somewhere else where you can return them if you aren't happy etc.. I see the same goggles for the same price at
dirt-bikes.ridegear.com and they also have the matching quarter mask. I want to try the quarter mask as a way to keep cold off the nose without blocking air flow.. The half and full maks might even be worth a try.. These things attach to the goggle to deflect dirt and debris and the full mask looks like it has a filter in it..
The only downside to these other than being a bit bulky is it's a bit of a hassle to wash them since there is an electronic fan in them.. you can't just submerge them in a sink full of soapy water.. Instead I carefully submerge a side of edge foam at a time and squish it repeatedly to force the soapy water thru ... I think I got it down now so its not so bad.. I do it immediately after riding when i wash my face before they get a chance to dry.. they have excellent foam on them and are very comfortable.. with a strap big enough to go over the helmet... I have a small flashing vista light on top in the back that I hook it over to keep it in place.. I'm thrilled with them.. I have been down into the teens with them on but it hasn't been cold enough for below 0 test.. I dont expect to have any problems with it tho..
