I can't say i really agree with this. The bike has actually been at 750 until very recently. Whether or not the "local craigslist market" accepts the price, i think we can say that the true value, considering the components, and high end frame, could easily be 650.

If a bike's value is simply what people are willing to pay, then nobody would ever buy an over priced, or underpriced bike. He could probably strip it of all the campy, make it a fixed gear and sell it for 600. But i don't think the value would right.
