Yeah, the Kilo frameset is $200 for the same thing as the KHS Flite. Another option is the Origin8 Scrambler ($150), which I've heard great things about. This is all if you have your heart set on building your own.

You would probably learn a lot more about different components and sizing of those components if you were to look through the sea of bike stuff out there and piece it together yourself, but it would definitely be more expensive than buying a Kilo TT for $350.

With the Kilo, though, you would want to disassemble it and reassemble it again yourself because they're assembled pretty shadily, so you would be learning from that too.
