I'd like to know this myself. Everything that I have read says that Limiteds were built in Japan, but the sticker says made in Italy. I guess you can make a sticker that says anything you want. I'll try to measure the BB, if that makes a difference.

The bottom line is, I like riding it a whole lot more than my MTB. More room to stretch out, and I can get along at a good clip on this rig. It is much quicker, and more nimble than my old Schwinn.

I wanted to get back into riding, but didn't want to dump a whole lot of money into it until I was sure that I would stay with it. I am really loving it at this point.
