HI,
My wifes wanted to go to the Comissary, I wanted to ride, but I got a look.
Any who as I started the faithfull crate , its Alternator Light came on, and I said a dirty word.
I went by my local Advanced auto and they ran some test. And said Zero output from the alternator, he also mentioned it maybe a ground or bad wire.
So I bought the Alternator and took it home pulled out my Handy rachet set, and commenced to remove and replace that device.
Now is it me or has anyone else become a better fix it man from working on all those bike components.
It went really well I noticed the replacement unit was a bit smalled so I thought hum needs a washer.
So I pulled out a steel washer and placed it next to the bracket clamp on the inside piece it worked well.
So thats what happened to my ride today.
PS I did make it to the Comissary and work on time too.
