I rode the Cleburne Goatneck 200k permanent today. It ended up being a tough day. It's an out and back route, and most of the roads on the first half of the route got new boulderseal since I last rode it, and the last half already had rough roads. The route has 7500 feet of climbing, with very few flat stretches, as you can see from the elevation chart below. Add a 100 degree afternoon to all that, and you have a tough ride. Only 3 of the 5 of us who started the ride managed to finish, and it took us 11 hours and 13 minutes. I ended up with 128.5 miles.
