I just bought a backup tube for my 26 X 1.9 tires. I bought the one the salesman recommended. On the package it says it fits sizes 1.75 - 2.125. That's a bigger range than what you're talking about...
on the package it says 26x1.75-2.125. the bsd is still 559. the tube you got will fit tires with that bsd, and a width of 1.75 to 2.125. in fact, i have used those tubes in 26x1.5 tires as well. but it will NOT fit in 26x1-3/8 tires.
