Well, I didn't get the 100 miles completed like I wanted today. I rode two back and forths to Yoder for a total of 68 miles, then switched to my road bike and took it slow and easy around the park until I saw a big, black storm cloud heading my way, with rain and lightning spewing forth. I hightailed it back home, and ended the day with 85 miles.

That second trip out to Yoder just about did me in. The winds kicked up even faster than they were this AM, and were blowing a steady 25 mph with gusts up to around 30. There's a 6 mile stretch of road that head due south into Yoder, and the wind was coming straight from the south, so I got a nice workout. I guess a person can get by without hills here in my part of Kansas.
