Interesting, never though of it the cost per mile. On my commuter bike I've probably got down to about 70-75 cents per mile so far just commuting, not including recreational use. I figure between insurance and gas savings, I've about broken even in the last 7 months vs driving to work. On my road bike, I'm probably pushing $4 per mile since I havent had it that long.
