The original is a very ugly zinc plated nut and bolt. I've always used a Campagnolo bolt. No ears are needed if you use two wrenches. I'm using a late Simplex bolt on my PA10. I'd describe it as a rough knockoff of a Campy bolt. It's chrome and has no ears. They're fairly rare and expensive.
