all this talk about locks and chains but someone mentioned renters or home owners insurance in this thread but it was never brought up again. has anyone claimed insurance on their stolen bike? i filed a claim on my recently teefed fuji track and promptly got slapped for a $500 deductible. no wonder insurance companies in ontario (or was that canada?) had record profits last year. i think insurance is a necessary evil.. not just to protect your bike, but your other possessions as well.
