I'm looking to get a mess bag since I commute to school as well as most other places. Right now the ones I'm looking at especially are Timbuk2 and Manhattan Portage because I can find 'em for cheap online. For some reason I can't really find any opinions or reviews of the Manhattan Portage bags. For instance, do they have the second chest strap that Timbuk2 and Chrome bags have to prevent movement? No picture I've seen shows this strap but I also have yet to see a picture of somebody wearing the bag. Anybody use both bags and can comment on them?
Sorry, I didn't want to make yet another thread just for messenger bags (yes, I searched the forums), so I figured I'd just use this thread since it's not too old.
