My short take on Baltimore politics; Since Rikki Spector only gets the benefit of living in a 1/2 million dollar condo as long as she lives by her rich developer boy freind and does not actually own it, that's not being bribed by a developer. But since Dixon got the benefit of a few thousand dollar fancy vacation/date from her rich developer boy freind that has no tangible value, that is being bribed. Hmmm. Probably not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison -- Spector, *prior* to her vote on the HarborView condo matter, asked for and received clearance from the city's Ethics Board, which ruled that she did not need to abstain. Certainly, one can argue with the Ethics Board's conclusion (and, of course, there's the whole issue of Spector living, at least part-time, outside of her district) but Spector, nominally at least, did what she was supposed to do.
And that is the end of any politicking by me.
