My oath they did a good job - nearly had a chuck when they were scrubbing the grease out of it.
My wife, who is an emergency nurse, tells me they use a scrubbing brush on guys who come in with road rash in order to get all the crap out of the wound.
I think that having your wound scrubbed out would probably hurt more than damaging yourself in the first place.
