I run dt shifters mostly because I can't currently afford to get a new bike (I would have to upgrade the drivetrain (rd-wheels)so it's not just the $200 for the brifters , even though that's a lot.I upgraded my frame for $100(nashbar alum. which I adore). I am currently saving for a new road bike.Given a choice I would have brifters for sure.Attachment 114117
