I'm lazy so the masterlink solution is appealing. I'd break the chain if it isn't a giant PITA to reassemble.

I have a little chain tool on my Alien multitool. Haven't used it yet. I assume that once I break the chain, I'll need a brand new pin to reassemble it properly? If that is correct then I must go get some pins.
