My worthless two cents...most people are looking for a "real' road bike but don't want to pay the $1,000 plus price tag. But on the flip side, they don't want to buy a poorly built Wally bike or Target bike either and even then, those bikes go for around $350 and up. So what to do? Craigslist and ebay....so my thinking is that regardless of brand or if its a "restored" bike, if it is functional and a somewhat recognizable name, you should be able to get at least $200 for it. At least that is what I am seeing here. People don't care that it's "restored" to original (those people who do care are sprocketheads and know what to look for but the average Joe out there, he doesn't give a flip....again, this is just my two worthless cents.
