Did it a few years ago.

Loved it!

Great road, great scenery.

My most vivid memory is riding along towards Jasper and seeing about 5 or 6 cars parked on the side of the road about a half mile ahead of me. This is fairly common when some animals wander near the road and the tourists stop to view them and take photos.

As I get about 300 yards away I see all the people standing by their cars looking into the woods at something bright orange. I am wondering what is going on.

I get up to the cars to stop and look for myself.

I can now see a guy in an orange jacket and slowly figure out what he is doing. He is approaching a brown bear with some food .

I was sure this was going to end in disaster but the bear just ran away back into the woods as the guy approached. I had my camera ready just in case the result was everybody's worst case scenario.
