Great Ones
Good Ones
Mediocre Ones
Poor Ones
and the last category:
"Run Away"

If you think it's easy making a buck in retail, try it sometime. Especially in this day and age when a guy will come in and pick your brain for an hour, and then take that knowledge and buy something over the internet at prices that retail outfits can't compete with. I can't blame anyone for trying to get the most value for their money, it's human nature. But if you use your LBS for a info resource, throw them a bone by actually buying something. If you have a really good LBS, support them, they're worth having around.
