yes, how could i forget? congee village is my all-time favorite restaurant in all of new york : cheap food, cheap drinks, open late, and MY LORD the decor. i remember when it first opened, my dad dragged the whole family there and i thought he was nuts. last year for my bday i rented out a small karaoke room for me and 10 friends... we pigged out, got wasted and sang songs at the top of our lungs for 4 hours and they didn't once bother us. oh man.
