I've had a LOT of close calls, but I honestly can't recall a real crash since I was a little kid. A few months ago I took a tight turn on an MUT the ground was moist and a bit slick. I come around this tight little corner pretty quick and not thinking and my back tire just slides, I think for sure that I'm going straight down, helmet bouncing off pavement, the whole deal, but somehow I straighten out and pull right through.

Yesterday the roads here were dry, but there was sand and road salt everywhere. A couple of times I'm cranking on an interval and the tire just spun and slid toward a side. That was scary b/c there was traffic and it's just a total, sudden loss of control.

I've been really lucky so far, I'm probably way overdue though. Knock on wood, I guess.
