The butted is a modifier to tubes but not forks and stays. Oh, hilarystone says it modifies the forks, too.
I get this, sort of, but that goes back to why I was screaming. What gauarantee do I have that my forks and stays are butted, tapered or just cheap old straight gauge?
I'm going to send Reynolds an e-mail and see what they "officially say about all of this. If and when I get a response I will post it here.
