Sorry... Ma'am... and I doubt it. I'm 40 and a father of 4. Let me restate something... I've ridden those roads hundredS of times... hell probably thousands (because I'm an old fart like you too). And even when I've ridden those beautiful mountain roads without music (which I done hundreds of times) I still have no concern as to exactly what types of trees I'm looking at. They're just pretty, which is enough. I've heard the birds... I've witnessed the deer, the foxes, the squirrels, the rabbits, the roadkill, the rednecks, the exhaust fumes, the crotchrockets, the cars and trucks, the sun, the rain, the moon, the stars, other riders, the blades of grass, gravel, stones, caterpillars, ants, snakes, lizards, houses, buildings, cows, horses, donkeys, and countless other things along the many traveled roads I've encountered. This still, in no way, has anything to do with the fact that I like to put on my iPod from time to time and witness it all to a collection of songs that I find add a different feel to the ride. So enjoy your botany lesson and your bird watching. I think that's great to each his (or her) own. But don't come down on someone just because they choose to experience something different from the way you do.
