Elites are hopeless. Stitching ripped off in 6 months and has a funky smell to it like it's trapping bacteria, I have Sugoi that are over 8 years nad PI even older. Granted I haven't tried Assos, but the only Performance worth it are actually the cheap ones (just lather it in your cream ) and the Ultra's. Elites and Centuries are crap.
The Ultra's chamois are made by a swiss compnay (Eshcner or Oeschner), maybe that's why. But I think it's lacking a bit in the fit and design department.
