It will work,but it's not as forgiving as vulcanizing type stuff.It must be clean,clean clean to work well.No oil or sweat from your hands.

To keep the tubes of glue from drying up on you,squeeze the tube from the bottom.Then when your done with it,squeeze the air out of the tube before you put the cap back on.It wont be dry when you go to use it the next time.
