Hello,

I have recently installed a Shimano 105 brake caliper on my 2007 Specialized Sequoia. I noticed that the ferrule (cable end cap thingy) doesn't quite fit into the caliper as it is a bit too large.

Should I try to remove the ferrule and find a smaller one or would it be ok just to remove it and put the cable housing directly into the brake caliper? Thanks very much!
